Cha Cha Action!

I just read something that gave me an idea for these blog posts-- something with a little less "head-knowledge" and a little more action.

When we start off the New Year with great intentions for change, we sometimes confuse the "intent" with the actual "change". We can spend a lot of time talking and reading about changes we want to make, but not actually make the changes themselves.

That's me.

Is that you?

Well, get off your computer chair right now and have a dance lesson... just turn up your speakers and follow along with the people on this particular video. Repeat. If you spend 5 minutes a day learning the cha cha over this next week I am willing to bet that you will want to do something a lot more active than just reading a book (I mean here BESIDES reading a book-- because I still believe that reading is motivating and necessary for gaining knowledge and insights.)

Cha Cha Cha!

"In addition to reading ten pages a day of a motivational or inspirational book...listen to a self-improvement CD for at least 15 minutes every day... If you spend that time listening to educational and self-improvement material, you'll have the equivalent of a Ph.D. on any subject you choose in just a few years. That's the Slight Edge." ~Jeff Olson, author of "The Slight Edge: Secret to a Successful Life"

This is a fabulous idea! If you would post these kinds of how-to videos once a week, I could count that as regular exercise. :)
