Raising a Team

"You can have everything you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want." ~Zig Ziglar's Golden Rule

A Nebraska farmer, Herman Ostry, had a barn floor that was under 29 inches of water
every Spring because of a rising creek. His son Mike devised a lattice work of steel tubing and nailed, bolted, and welded it on the inside and the outside of the barn. Hundreds of handles were attached. After just one practice lift, 344 volunteers slowly walked the 17,000 pound barn up a slight hill, each supporting less than 50 pounds. In just three minutes, the barn was on its new foundation.

This is a pretty amazing example of what can be accomplished when a team of laser-focused, willing, enthusiastic people come together to help each other out.

I belong to an organization with a similar ethic-- people coming together to help others know a life of positivity, fellowship and abundance. I am very grateful to have a supplier with an owner who appreciates what value independent business builders bring to his company and recognizes that his company prospers as he assists me and others in prospering our businesses. If you want to find out how you too can be part of this organization in your own business, click here. I'm looking forward to meeting you!

"In addition to reading ten pages a day of a motivational or inspirational book...listen to a self-improvement CD for at least 15 minutes every day... If you spend that time listening to educational and self-improvement material, you'll have the equivalent of a Ph.D. on any subject you choose in just a few years. That's the Slight Edge." ~Jeff Olson, author of "The Slight Edge: Secret to a Successful Life"

**Thank you to Amy Jacobs for the photo of the barn stored at StockXpert.
