What are my Heart Desires?

The easiest way to identify what our heart desires is to look closely at the feelings that come up for us when we think about the subject of desire. Do you feel at peace when picking up your journal or creatively tweaked when logging into Blogger? Does time spent with your family send shivers of joy up your spine? What feelings surface when you pursue what makes your heart rise and swoop? True joy and happiness comes when we regularly do the positive activities that we most love. Take an overview of your life right now. Engage in the activities that make you feel alive, bring healthy pleasure, and maintain balance.

**The photo above is of the second prayer shawl I knit for a friend. I love doing these prayer shawls.. I pray through the knitting and know that the person I give it to will probably pray while she wears it, and will feel loved and blessed.

"In addition to reading ten pages a day of a motivational or inspirational book...listen to a self-improvement CD for at least 15 minutes every day... If you spend that time listening to educational and self-improvement material, you'll have the equivalent of a Ph.D. on any subject you choose in just a few years. That's the Slight Edge." ~Jeff Olson, author of "The Slight Edge: Secret to a Successful Life"
